Crossing began on August 11th 2002 as a result of a vision God given to Bishop Leon D. Ralph who was already 69 years old. Some thought ‘that is too old for him to start a brand new church”, but God proved them wrong. Bishop Ralph opened up a bible study in his home which would soon become the church. Initially we were called “The Interdenominational Church of God of L.A”, but in May 2004 we reincorporated as Crossing. Elder Kendall Davis took the mantle as teaching pastor in January 2006 and with the passing of Bishop Ralph in 2007 Pastor Davis along with his wife Pastor Makisha Davis began to co-pastor Crossing.

We started in a house in 2002, moved to a hotel in 2003, then sublet a church in 2004. In 2006 we moved into the Old Water Company building in Carson that is now torn down. In 2010 we began meeting at the Southland Christian Academy before moving into the Crossing Annex building in 2012 (shown above).

In 2016 we purchased our current location. We did a little sprucing up of the place and changed this
