Pastor Makisha Davis

Makisha Davis is a native of Los Angeles, California, she is the second oldest of eight siblings. She is also the mother of six children and is married to Bishop Kendall Davis of Crossing Ministry. Pastor Makisha Holds a Bachelor Degree in Sacred Theology, Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justices, Master Degree in Human Behavior. She is currently pursing a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology.

Pastor Makisha began her walk with Christ at the age of nine where she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior and baptized at Greater Bethany Community Church under the pastorate of Bishop Robert W. MC Murray.  In 1992, being filled with the Holy Spirit, she continued her service to the Lord Jesus Christ by serving in Wings of Love prison Ministry, Greater Bethany Media Ministry, Straight Gate Media Ministry and Women’s Ministry. In 2001, Pastor Makisha entered into leadership of elders at Dynastic Fellowship Church under the Pastorate of Paeydon Lewis. She further continues her service to the Lord as she headed the Intercessory prayer team, as well as oversaw and trained the directors within the various Ministries. In 2004, she and her husband were lead to Crossing Ministry where she continued her services to the Lord under the pastorate of Bishop Leon Ralph. She also served in children’s Ministry, Intercessory prayer, women ministry, evangelism team, and praise and worship team.

Pastor Makisha says, serving in the various churches taught her through the Holy Spirit as a servant of God to serve with these characteristics: At Greater Bethany she learned the “Power of God”, At Straight Gate she learned the “Word of God”, At Dynastic Fellowship she learned the “Revelatory Knowledge of God” and at Crossing she learned the “Love and Humility of God”

In 2007, Pastor Makisha was called by the Lord to become Assistant Pastor of Crossing Ministry, and in 2013 was elevated to Senior Pastor of Crossing Ministry after her husband entered into the office of Bishopric.  She is the Author of B.A.S.I.C.S Children Christian program, the founder and CEO of Firm Hand Outreach Community Centers, and the owner of Breathe Life CPR.  She is currently employed by the Los Angeles County Probation Department as a Supervisor Deputy Probation Officer where she has served since 1991. Pastor Makisha has ministered the word of God in venues across the country at the leading of the Holy Spirit.  She continues to serve the Lord with Joy by serving his people. “TO GOD BE THE GLORY”
