The Kings Table

Then said Ziba unto the king, According to all that my lord the king hath commanded his servant, so shall thy servant do. As for Mephibosheth, said the king, he shall eat at my table, as one of the king’s sons. – 2 Samuel 9:11

The Kings Table has always been a place where men of significance gather around and spend time with the King. There is no greater King than Jesus himself and no greater significance than to gather at the table with Him That is what we do. We bring men to the table so they can see the King of King and Lord of Lords. The Kings Table is Men’s Ministry to the extreme. Real men who are neither ashamed to love God nor are they afraid to deal with their issues. The Kings Table feels more like a men’s conference than it does a fellowship. It’s 100% about letting Christ challenge us to step up and be leaders.

The Kings Order

Men gather in prayer, praise and worship, victorymonies (testimonies of triumph) and to be used in their artistic giftings. There is a 30 minute message on the biblical roles of men but the real ministry happens as the men break in small groups to share what they are going through and give ways to apply the word to our lives. We confront ourselves in a no hold barred yet personal way. There is always plenty of food but more importantly it is a place where men enjoy spending time with Christ.

 

Secrets of the Table

There are real issues with men that cannot be dealt with outside of the confines of safety. Our Motto is “What goes on at the Kings Table stays at the Kings Table”. The Confession Session is a time when men share the secret issues and sins that plague them in an environment of trust. Men pour out their hearts and receive the encouragement, counsel and the prayer they need in order to heal. The secrets laid down stay on the altar of God’s table as we see men rise up set free from fears and bondages.

The Kings Blessing

At the Kings Table we endeavor to help men who are in genuine need. As the saying goes “give a man a fish and he has a meal; teach him to fish he can feed himself for life”. We look to match the men with resources they require. Whether its clothing for a job interview or helping in career planning. We endeavor to do our best. Our ears are open to job opportunities in our local area. Job coaching skills are available to teach resume writing, conducting an interview, organization and business relations.
