Pastor Makisha Davis serves as both coordinator and Pastoral Director over the Incense of Prayer Ministry. Having been called as an intercessor first and pastor second Pastor Makisha is leading the charge to make intercession a regular part of every believers life. Pastor Makisha is Co-Pastor of Crossing Ministries and serves alongside her husband Pastor Kendall Davis.

Incense of Prayer
Just as the priest would burn incense on the altar in the temple representing the prayer of the people. The Incense of Prayer has a burning desire to come before the Lord and serve His people through intercessory prayer. The Incense of Prayer Ministry is a convening of priest and prayer warriors in order to see real change in our world and the lives of God’s people. At the Incense of Prayer we believe that prayer changed lives and brings reconciliation. We pray that the hand of God move effectively in the lives of all believers.
Prayer House
Every major move of God and every major revival have always been preceded by prayer. So it is of no surprise that God requires His house to be a house of prayer. Incense of prayer trains warriors to pray the rhema word of God. The prayer techniques taught are not only effective; they are personal in building our relationship with God. Incense of Prayer also gathers in corporate prayer services weekly and participates in all night prayer shut-ins as the Lord leads.
Prayer Partners
Proactive prayer partnering prevents problems. Incense of Prayer seeks to shift the environment in your favor. However times of adversity must sometimes come. During those times every believers needs someone to have their back. Incense of Prayer not only teaches but reaches each member of Crossing through prayer. Each person is covered by the leadership and by other ministry members. As prayer request are lifted up to the Lord, we keep them there. We believe we must travail with you continuing to pray until issues are resolved.
Prayer Choices
Prayer Choices are what we do after we pray. Often it is after people pray that there are life adjustments that must be made to align ourselves with God’s will. Praying for finances, relationships and family matters without doing what scripture says regarding these issues causes many to stay in the prayer line. Incense of Prayer seeks for each of us to line up and believe what God has for our lives. We don’t preach unwanted advice but as we pray we hear God and speak forth what the Lord has for His people.
